It features three sides (Good, Sauron, Saruman - Sauron and Saruman begin as allies) divided in several smaller factions (Gondor, Rohan, Mirkwood, Harad, Rhun, Mordor, Moria, etc). Once the war starts, if you capture an elite enemy troop like a kings guard it can bring in around 500 resource points. All of those rebel wild men usually bring in 50 dollars a pop and they are really easy to beat. However early on in the game I found one of the best ways to get money was through prisoners. Then you can get more points a day with new ranks. Missions are good for getting rank points and such that will eventually promote you. One is hard enough lol.Īs far as resources go, it was difficult for me to get a lot on my Isengard file. Also cross your fingers and hope you don't run into two at one time. Just bringing normal orcs wont do anything as they will be crappy enough and won't do damage either.
My best advice would be to level up your power strike a couple of times, get a nice long axe, and bring some really nice troops (especially archers) to deal with them.
I took that mission really early on so that mission was a little tough for me too. Ents are essentially trolls in TLD where as there skin is really tough and most of the time you can't do real damage to them unless you are a high enough level.
