It features three sides (Good, Sauron, Saruman - Sauron and Saruman begin as allies) divided in several smaller factions (Gondor, Rohan, Mirkwood, Harad, Rhun, Mordor, Moria, etc). It puts the player in the middle of the War of the Ring, with a lot of factions, units, and towns. Its draws its inspiration from The Lord of the Rings, especially the books (although some clothings and city appearances come from the movies). I think just basing your salary off missions though wouldn't be a good idea though. The Last Days (of the Third Age of Middle Earth) is a Game Mod for Mount & Blade, a Strategy Game with tactical action and RPG Elements. Once the war starts, if you capture an elite enemy troop like a kings guard it can bring in around 500 resource points. All of those rebel wild men usually bring in 50 dollars a pop and they are really easy to beat. However early on in the game I found one of the best ways to get money was through prisoners. Then you can get more points a day with new ranks. Missions are good for getting rank points and such that will eventually promote you. One is hard enough lol.Īs far as resources go, it was difficult for me to get a lot on my Isengard file. Also cross your fingers and hope you don't run into two at one time. Just bringing normal orcs wont do anything as they will be crappy enough and won't do damage either.

I took that mission really early on so that mission was a little tough for me too. Ents are essentially trolls in TLD where as there skin is really tough and most of the time you can't do real damage to them unless you are a high enough level.
